What’s on the agenda: Horse Hill

The Committee will decide whether to allow a further three years of oil drilling and related activity at Horse Hill. Horse Hill Developments Ltd applied back in November 2016 and the decision has been repeatedly postponed while the planners asked for more information about their plans.

The Environment Agency has already granted the variation to HHDL’s environment permit to allow the works.

What’s on the agenda: Leith Hill

The Traffic Management Scheme and Security Fencing applications for Leith Hill are being decided on Wednesday

The Planning & Regulatory Committee voted in August not to approve the Traffic Management Scheme – Europa has resubmitted the Scheme, with virtually no changes. Meanwhile planning officers have decided that the fencing applications that extend the boundary of the drill site count as completely separate planning applications to the main drill application and thus magically do not extend the boundary at all.
