UK Energy: Which Way Forward? Diary dates

You’re invited to two upcoming meetings (one in Surrey, one nearby).

Divest Surrey, Dorking, 23 October

Surrey Pension Fund has £110 million invested in the fossil fuels industry. Local campaigners are trying to persuade the Fund to drop these investments – and they’ve made some progress: the Fund is now actively considering its environmental responsibilities.

But this is not enough. What can we do to persuade them to move Surrey pensioners’ money out of yesterday’s fuels and help finance a cleaner future?

Come to an informal meeting to discuss ideas. Lincoln Arms pub, Station Approach, Dorking RH4 1TF (near Dorking and Deepdene stations), 7.30pm, Monday 23 October.
